After many requests for my playlist in classes I teach, blog friends requests for more music from me, and Facebook encouragement...
Here is a little thing I like to welcome to the blog called
Music that Moves Me.
No particular day for this segment but when I have some music that has been moving me I will share here in what I like to refer to as a Jam session.
In this house we have lots of Jam sessions.
Jam sessions can happen anywhere:
in the kitchen while cooking,
in the middle of the living room,
in the shower (though I don't think I will be filming any videos in there, for both of our sakes)
at the gym/studio,
at your desk or office,
driving in the car (a huge one over here)
or anywhere else where the music takes over and moves you.
I say "moves" two ways.
The first one is the obvious, music that gets ya moving, literally. Tapping your toes, bobbing your head, Shaking what your momma gave ya, or inventing new ridiculous dance moves (also a huge one over here)
The second way music "moves" you, is when it moves you in a way that no one can see. But you can feel it. It's music that stirs the soul. Echoes your heart. Music that you can feel almost beating right along with your heart. It music that speaks to you and moves you to thought, love, tears, and change.
I will be sharing both types here in this segment, Music that makes me dance and sing and music that sits well with my soul. Life is a dance with both.
So Enjoy this week's Jam Session!!!
Music that Moves Me Playlist 1 is on Spotify and Shared on Facebook!
Happy Listening!
